Hello Bloggers!

Some of you may have seen our latest shoot “Into the Darkness they go, the Wise and the Lovely”. We hope you love what you have seen! Jess and I feel as though we owe you, the viewer, an explanation of our thought process for the shoot. Of course, you are welcome to perceive the shoot however you like, but if you are a bit lost to the storyline, here’s something to get you thinking! Characters:

Magen Chambers and Katelyn Smith as “the two girls” (One wise, One Lovely)

Rocky Purvis as “music” (a dark, tempting force)

Plot:

Our story starts with Music playing, in the form of a siren’s song, beckoning whoever may hear it. Our two girls hear the sounds and become entranced to the point of searching for its origin. They find Music playing in a clearing in the woods. They approach him, and instantly The lovely, more naive of the two falls for Music’s charming ways. He caresses her, putting her under his curse. The Wise girl then follows after Music and the Lovely girl, in a cross of jealousy and concern. Music notices this and offers her his curse, but the wise girl, having more reservation and seeing his scheme, turns away from his charm. The Lovely girl welcomes Music’s serenade, while she swings and seduces her captor. The wise girl comes upon the same swing and again Music attempts to gain her favor, but she turns him away once more. In an attempt to save the Lovely girl, she pleas for her to stay with her, away from Music’s grip, but the Lovely girl falls into a trance at the sound of Music’s harmonica, picks up her own instrument and follows him. Knowing she has failed, she sits outside the world Music and the Lovely girl travel to, crushed by her failure.
